Advanced Coaching

The Zenergy Diploma of Facilitation and Coaching is a new advanced programme in coaching. This is a programme for senior graduates who also want to develop their coaching skills and complete the Diploma of Facilitation and Coaching.

Graduates need to complete Coaching for Outstanding Results (already an optional part of the Diploma of Facilitation), Stage 1: The Art of Facilitation, Stage 2: The Distinctions of Facilitation plus a new programme Advanced Coaching and also Coaching Practice.

Coaching for Outstanding Results
15 hours training
A conceptual framework for one to one coaching and practice in all the key skills for outstanding performance. This 2-day peer-based programme is designed for the workplace. No prerequisites are required.

Advanced Coaching
22.5 hours training
A three-day programme designed for professional coaches. Advanced coaching skills including transformational approaches and techniques. A prerequisite for this programme is Coaching for Outstanding Results.

The Advanced Coaching programme builds on the foundation of the Zenergy Coaching for Outstanding Results programme, which is a prerequisite. It also draws on the Zenergy technology developed within our facilitation training programmes.

The Approach
The approach to the programme is that of recognising the whole person, including the spiritual, mental, emotional, intuitive, practical, sexual and other aspects of personhood, best defined by persons themselves. The approach also encourages both autonomy and co-operation and with this a relationship of equal worth and peerness between the people involved (in this case the coach and the coachee).

This does not mean that the coach and coachee need to have the same knowledge or expertise in coaching or other specialized knowledge areas of the coachee or of the coach. Different skill sets are seen as complementary and contributing to the richness of the coaching relationship.

The coaching relationship needs to be as conscious (aware, clear and transparent) as possible and contribute to the consciousness of both the coach and coachee. The purpose of Advanced Coaching itself could be seen as growing conscious action in the world.

Coaching Practice
50 hours
Each diploma participant will complete 50 hours of coaching practice during the course of their diploma. The hours include preparation and review time. The participant will be coached by a coach of their choice and keep a practice journal. Zenergy coaches are available by negotiation.

The Diploma courses and content will be reviewed periodically.
