Tanya consults to commercial organizations as a facilitator and trainer primarily in the areas of Leadership development, facilitating group dynamics and supporting change initiatives. Her interest and passion is in supporting people to transform and reach new levels of capability in whatever they are up to.
From a facilitation perspective, Tanya’s passion and capability is in working with groups in the following areas – vision and values, culture-setting, creating the conditions for a high performing teams, working collaboratively to address unhelpful dynamics in teams, managing change, self and peer assessment process and debriefing process.
Over the past 15 years, Tanya has been consulting in the broader Organisational Development area. This included team-building, psychometric assessment and feedback, assessment centre development, competency-based recruitment and performance management processes, career counselling, group facilitation and coaching. She has also spent two years in a corporate role as People Development Coach; with a focus on integrating formalised Training & Development programmes into the business, supporting & coaching people at all levels in the business, and providing support during change processes.
Current clients include EBOS Healthcare, NZ Post, Air New Zealand, Nielson, Independent Schools of NZ, Vector Communications, Vodafone, Department of Labour, Wolters-Kluwer, SPARC NZ and Gen-i.
Tanya has a BA Psychology; MCom Management Studies from Auckland University and a Diploma in Facilitation & Coaching from Zenergy.
On a community basis, Tanya has been a Trainer and Telephone counsellor for Lifeline for over 10 years. Tanya has 2 gorgeous boys, Oscar & Felix, and is having loads of fun being a Mum. She also loves reading, movies, enjoying food, wine & fun with friends & family, traveling, creating amazing mosaics, learning & experiencing and having a damn good laugh.
