Bill
has supported Zenergy from the beginning, particularly to encourage the sharing of skills with a wider world, and to go global. His role has been to challenge and to stimulate thinking beyond the practices of inter-personal work originating in the 1970's.
Bill's association with Dale Hunter began in the mid 1970's when Bill was Auckland City's Director of Planning and Social Development. Together with other Auckland pioneers, Dale, Russell Withers, Bevin Fitzsimons and Christine Herzog established the
Environmental Resource Centre.
Back in UK and associated with Oasis, a similar cooperative organisation, he encouraged
Zenergy to bring the particularly New Zealand flavour in Facilitation to a wider world and to get their early writings published by large scale publishers. Now, as then, he urges that the exceptional innovative talent of Zenergy be recognised and celebrated.
