Facilitation Master Class in Daylesford, Australia
A 4-day Master Class was organised in Daylesford, Victoria by Zenergy Associate and Diploma graduate Laurel Freeland. Six of the participants came from, or near, Daylesford and three from other parts of Australia. Many of the participants had connections with sustainability and indigenous issues.
Workshop leader Dr. Dale Hunter introduced new material on Attentional Violence from Otto Scharmer and explored The Evolutionary Impulse alive in each of us (from Craig Hamilton).
Creativity and creative expression were prominant and the workshop was visited by two birds - a Kookaburra and a Carawag, who sat on the tree outside on the 4th morning and gave us their attention.
Paticipants appreciated:
The sacred space - a space in which I felt safe to reveal my heart and mind to the group.
Slowing down to listen to myself and others.
The group being alive awake and aware. Getting to where we go to - deep connected presence.

Online Facilitation Skills programme Outstanding Success!
Our recent Online Facilitation Skills programme just gets better and better and inspires us as much as the participants who this time came from Australia (5), UK (3), Finland and Nigeria.
Not only did we experience video conferencing, mind mapping, meeting planning, Second Life, Skyping, Google Docs and more on our special Ning site, but we also went to deeper levels of empathy and co-creation. This is a programme you do not want to miss and we have another one starting soon on 6 September.
Paticipant comments include:
One of the best courses I have ever attended.
...I feel very lucky to have worked with a great group who were very generous in sharing their thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Thank you for an amazing learning experience.

The Art of Facilitation by Dale Hunter to be published in Korean
The Art of Facilitation (fully revised 2007) by Dale Hunter with Stephen Thorpe et al. is being translated into Korean and will be published by Sigma Press in Seoul before Christmas 2010.
"The Art" was first published in New Zealand in 1994 by Tandem Press (reprinted 1997, 2002, 2004), and also published by Fisher Books USA 1995, and Gower Press UK 1996 (hardback),1998 (paperback).
The book was fully revised (actually rewritten) and updated to bring it into the context of the growing profession of facilitation and republished by Random House NZ in 2007 (Tandem had been bought out by Random), then Wiley/Jossey Bass USA in 2009 and soon Sigma Press (Korea) 2010. |

29th Master Class
Zenergy's 29th Facilitation Master Class was held on 11-14 March. The programme had 6 participants who each worked on developing their leading edge facilitation skills to mastery.
Diploma graduates Graham Oliver and Greg Menendez were reviewing the programme. Graham has now completed four Master Classes and continues to extend his leading edge with Zenergy's whole person approach. All Zenergy's graduates are welcome to review any module they have completed and pay only 1/3rd of the full programme investment.

September Workshops in London and Oxford, UK
Dr. Dale Hunter and Stephen Thorpe led a number of workshops in the UK in September. These included a 4-day Master Class in London 9-12 September, and workshops on Working in Blended Realities, Generating a Quantum Shift in Group Consciousness and Enhancing Online Facilitation with Storytelling at the IAF Europe conference in Oxford 18-20 September.
"The whole trip was one highlight after another" said Dale. "The London Master Class was held in the city centre near St Paul's cathedral and we held one session in the cathedral gardens. The Oxford workshops were held at Keble College, a beautful residential college founded in 1870 and with dining halls just like the ones featured in the Harry Potter books. The participants involved were wonderful and inspiring and appreciated our embodied approach to facilitation and dialogue".
Visionary Dialogue London
Zenergy leaders and several contributors to the Presencing Institute Community took part in a 2-day dialogue focusing on in-depth creative and generative dialogue and how these could be more readily available to all. Participants were Ria Baeck, Tom Klein and George Por from the PI Community and Corina Roobeck, Jane Campion, Stephen Thorpe and Dale Hunter, Zenergy, and Alexandra Stubbings (1-day) from the Ashridge Business School.
Liam Forde joined in through Skype on the 2nd day. The outcomes included the setting up of an online dialogue to envisage the role of facilitators 50-100 years into the future. This dialogue will begin soon. If you are interested in being a part of this please email us at
